Dreams

I look back through the days…
Days long into the past.
A time when all the moments we shared
Went by way too fast.
I flip through all the pages
Of my collected memories.
I cherish this book existing
Of all my secret fantasies.
These treasured recollections
That time can’t take away,
I’ve hidden from the world around me
Yet the passion’s growing day by day.
I may hide my desires by day,
My dreams are oh so real.
My un-confessed desires inside
Only my dreams could start to reveal.
Our lips are pressed together,
Oh, I’ve waited for this kiss.
I wonder if anything could ever
Be as good as this…
My dreams are all I have,
So I hope the sun will never rise.
For when the sunlight comes
I know my love must be disguised.
It’s you I’m thinking of
In the nights…when I dream.
In the moments of passion
It’s your name that I scream.
There’s no telling for us
What the future holds,
But this love that’s hidden within me
With time only grows.
I’m falling more in love with you
With every passing day.
I’m wanting you and needing you
In every single way.
My dreams are what I hold on to.
It just doesn’t seem very fair.
